I studied architecture in London and Cambridge with a special interest in rural development, economy and landscape. After graduating I worked with Peter Beard_LANDROOM as project architect on the Rainham Marsh RSPB reserve a joint project with the London Borough of Havering and part of the London Green Grid which the project emerged from. After the completion of this project I moved to the Greater London Authority’s Design for London / Regeneration teams. My role as a design advisor was focussed on developing briefs and securing funding for regeneration projects in the Lea Valley, largely focussed on Tottenham in the wake of the 2011 riots.  Since leaving the GLA I have been working as an independent architect on a variety of projects from small houses to larger public spaces.  Most of the work I have undertaken in the last four years has been with London councils and community groups seeking to strengthen places through packages of improvements that might include public realm and landscape works, architectural interventions, building of social structures and marketing or branding.

I have recently joined Karakusevic Carson Architects as a project architect, the practice builds high quality housing, mostly working directly for local authorities.

I have held various teaching / academic roles including design fellow at the University of Cambridge (teaching first year studio), studio tutor at London Metropolitan University and studio tutor at the University of East London.
